After this, you can set off on an epic journey through Amberino and New Hanover - two of the northeastern regions in Red Dead Redemption 2's expansive map. Together they make up almost half the total game area!

Red Dead Redemption 2’s expansive map reaches far off into unexplored western wildlands, a place where the legends of Blackwater and other locations from its predecessor have been shrouded in mystery. Home to pivotal moments throughout the game's storyline, West Elizabeth is initially locked away after an ill-fated bank heist at Blackwater - waiting for those brave enough to uncover what lies beyond it.

As you can see, the map of Red Dead Redemption 2 is huge. Don’t expect to unlock the West Elizabeth region for a good while, and we’d recommend taking your time to see all that the first area in the northeast has to offer, before venturing into Blackwater and West Elizabeth. Unfortunately, Mexico doesn’t feature in the map of Red Dead Redemption 2, and we’re confined to the northern part of the border regions.

Second Treasure Map Location :

Explore the secret passageway leading from Cornwall Freight Station's yard to St. Denis harbor and you just might be rewarded with a hidden map! Take note of that lone wooden crate in your path - there may be more than meets the eye behind its walls…

Hidden Treasure :

Venture to the Saint Denis cemetery for a chance at buried treasure! Tucked away in an inconspicuous mausoleum with a vibrant stained-glass window, you'll discover 5 gold bars hidden within its walls. Take up your shovel and start digging - it's time to seize this golden opportunity that awaits behind the central dome of mystery!

Locating the treasure hunter:

After completing the Chapter 3 mission, "The New South," a mysterious stranger has taken up residence across much of West Eliz and New Hanover. Keep an eye out for multiple spawn points to find him!

First Treasure Map Location :

Take a journey to the majestic Cumberland Falls! Follow along its meandering ledges, and you'll find yourself poised before an extraordinary waterfall. Have courage; step into this awesome force of nature and discover two enormous rocks near each other - nestled between them lies your ultimate goal: a Treasure Map waiting for you there!

Second Treasure Map Location :

Venture to the North-Eastern corner of Barrow Lagoon and you'll discover a large rock formation. If your explorations prove fruitful, hidden at its very tip is an intriguing log bridge - nestled in the centre lies a Treasure Map waiting to be unearthed!

Final Treasure Map Location :

Put your hiking boots on, because the journey to this Treasure Map is an adventurous one. Starting in Fort Wallace and making your way down hill towards Bacchus Station, you'll need to veer off-track and take a path that runs along the cliff edge for some time - just keep going left! You don't want to miss out on what's ahead: A dead end with an overhang near it – here lies the final map of buried treasure beneath its crack… Get searching!
